Oldest Baby for Newborn Session to Date

Newborn sessions require time and a great deal of patience. A lot of patience. As a newborn gets older, they become less flexible for those adorable and curled-up newborn portraits you often see. The first month passes quickly, and they change significantly! I usually aim to schedule sessions when the baby is between 5-21 days old, but occasionally, I receive inquiries for older babies. I have never turned anyone away with such requests! All parents deserve portraits of their new baby, no matter the age, though it can slightly alter the session's appearance... well, usually. This little prince was an exception, allowing me to pose him through my entire workflow for a brand-new newborn, plus some additional shots I had planned. Given his age, I expected he might not be up for some table poses, so I prepared extra prop shots. However, he managed to do it all and more! This little one was nearly 7 weeks old for his session!
